La Calle del Imaginero

Malpelo — 1996

La Calle del Imaginero was an early choreographic work by the Catalan contemporary dance company Mal Pelo, created by co-directors and performers Maria Munoz and Pep Ramis that explores theatrical movement imbued with dream-like imagery and poetic gesture as part of the ensemble's distinct interdisciplinary approach to dance. It was first presented in 1996, during the formative years of Mal Pelo's international touring and creative emergence, and was performed on contemporary dance stages in Spain and across Europe as part of the company's expanding repertoire that helped establish their reputation in the dance world.
