If These Walls Could Talk

Dislocate — 2017

If These Walls Could Talk is a physical theatre production created by the Australian company Dislocate. The work combines movement, visual storytelling, and elements of circus and theatre to explore the hidden histories and memories contained within everyday spaces. Through a highly physical performance language, the show imagines the stories that buildings might reveal if they could speak, reflecting on themes of time, human presence, and the traces people leave behind. As with many of Dislocate's productions, the piece emphasises expressive movement and visual imagery, creating an engaging and accessible theatrical experience that communicates narrative through the body as much as through words.
