Urban Sketching

Urban sketching allows me to connect directly with the places I move through every day. By drawing on location, I observe the details, light, and atmosphere of a space in a way that photography or memory alone cannot capture. The practice encourages me to slow down and engage with the architecture, people, and rhythm of the city, translating those fleeting moments into lines and colour on the page. Each sketch becomes a personal record of a place and a moment in time, combining observation with interpretation and turning everyday urban environments into meaningful visual stories.
